3 Months of “Keeping Investment Simple & Stupid”

3 Months of “Keep(ing) Investment Simple & Stupid”  – a title that makes you wonder, 3 months down the road, what would my investment return be like? 3 months would have been too early to see any return, your unit trust agent or your insurance agent might say. You’d be happier seeing your bank fixed deposit slip upon 3 months’ maturity despite its small number. If you are trading something online, I mean crude oil, gold futures, stocks – your savings might have even got dented. However, the good news is, if you are buying into a crude oil project,  you would already have a 3% payout debited into your bank account.

That aside, if you have not start anything, I suggest you to start reading the “Keep Investment Simple & Stupid” (KISS) book written by yours truly, myself and my long time buddy, Benny Lee, which we have launched 3 months ago.

The “Keep Investment Simple & Stupid” series was initially what we started at Financial Youth Intelligence (FYI). We launched a program in Year 2013 titled ‘How to Invest like an Idiot and Trade Like a Pro’ investment workshop.  My mission was to increase the level of financial intelligence among youths in the region. As time went on, ‘How to Invest like an Idiot and Trade Like a Pro’ investment workshop has been consistently signing up no less than 250 participants in every show, we only felt that it is the right time to write a book on investing itself – targeting not only on students, but also novice investors alike.

By now, the book has already enjoyed much encouraging feedback from readers, not only in Malaysia, but also in Singapore, Cambodia and Vietnam!

To an author's delight, the book was featured in Popular Bookstores at its finance section as no. 1 in March.

What’s more, I recently was told that the book got featured in The Edge’s Personal Money, Issue 153, May 2014 issue with positive reviews.

For some of you out there who have yet to start in investing or unsure, perhaps, my suggestion to you is to start investing in this book. The best investment you could ever make is the machine between your 2 ears.

As for those of you who have already been touched by our ‘Keep Investment Simple & Stupid’ book or ‘How to Invest like an Idiot & Trade like a Pro’ investment workshop, look out for Part 2 of the book and workshop! *Hint hint *

Lastly, always remember to Keep Investment Simple and Stupid!
